Again, I suggest a very tight Renaissance head. On a Drum Dial, I set it to 94. Or you can use the ruler method and tighten the head so a 10" ruler placed perpendicular to the bridge just touching the treble side will leave a gap just deep enough to slide a US dime underneath.

The Renaissance head is the thinnest on the market so it will stretch for the first few months. Check daily, then weekly then monthly.

Just checking in. I have a 1995 gold plated GDL tenor. I have a very tight Renaissance head which seems to bring out the best for ITM.
